How do i prepare for my booking?
- Gentle exfoliation in the lead up to your day is key. Ashley would highly recommend getting a facial 3-5 days prior to ensure skin is hydrated and any dead skin is exfoliated. This allows for a much smoother makeup application and minimizes any rough, dry texture you may have.
- If you are thinking about getting a spray tan before your big day please plan accordingly. It is best to tan 2-3 days prior & ensure product is completely rinsed out of pores to avoid any transfer on to your dress. Keep spray tanning your face to a minimum & lighter than your body. As we will be applying makeup on top of a tan, we want the skin to look cohesive and radiant. Overdoing the face can lead to makeup looking blotchy and give the appearance of an uneven skin tone.
- If planning to wear false lashes, please do not get any lash lifts done. It is extremely difficult to apply false lashes over a lash lift & they may not be suitable depending on how lifted your lashes are.
- Keep your skincare routine as normal as possible & stick to what you regularly use. This avoids any possible bad reactions to new products you have not tried before in the lead up to your big day.

how long will my makeup last?
Your makeup is designed to last all day & night. As a professional makeup artist, Ashley understands the most effective techniques to set your makeup. By using a lot of sheer, light layers that all do different things it gives a natural, radiant skin like finish that lasts from morning to evening. Please note, for clients who have an oily skin type or if getting married in hot summer months, a touch up powder will ensure longevity throughout the day and it is a good idea to keep one handy. Lip products can transfer when eating and drinking etc, especially a gloss, so occasionally topping up is recommended! Return touch up services are available on request.
